Press release   Tainatar   Dramatic colours and powerful emotion - stories of life, people and secrets.   Tainatar was formed in 2001 and works mostly in the Uusimaa province. The five-member lineup consists of Antti Kivimäki (bass), Antti Sunell (guitar), Pekka Pitkäkoski (piano), Antti Polameri (drums), Mia Sauranen (vocals).   The music of Tainatar has been composed and written mostly by Antti Polameri, the group's drummer. The music is stylistically set between progressive rock and balladic music. The emphasis is in storytelling. The lyrics are like mysterious jewels: stories of people, the lights and shadows of life, longing, striving for connection.   In the autumn of 2006 the band released a single called Vastatuulen Lintu. Tainatar released its debut album Twilight Celebration 30.7.2008. The Band gigs regularly and The venues have ranged from bars to concert halls. As an interesting advancement  the band have found a collaborative channel with visual artists. The combined art exhibit / concert events have involved artists from Riihimäki town and the trio of Mattila-Malkamäki-Sundell from the Pohjanmaa province.
