Dear friend of musical culture! Allow us to let you know that Elinkeinoyhtymä Taina-kilta Productions has begun operations in Janakkala, its responsible functionaries being Pekka Pitkäkoski and Antti Polameri. We are a small company aiming at quality work mostly within musical culture. Our first product is the recently released single by the Tainatar group, including two pieces composed and written by Antti Polameri. The Tainatar group was formed in 2001, and to our delight we can now release a part of the band's works as a single. We are looking for collaborators. Tainatar has a repertoire of about an hour ready for performances. We can be booked to perform at social evenings and cultural events. Tainatar can also perform at schools and other institutions and give musical lectures. We can be commissioned compositions for various uses. Our compositional work covers a wide spectrum from cinematic music to commercials and computer games. Pitkäkoski graduated from the Helsinki Pop-Jazz Conservatory, and Polameri has studied at the musical theatre school Musti among other things, composing theatrical music as his scholarly thesis there. Both regularly supplement their knowledge under the direction of Ilkka Von Boehm, M. A. In addition we give private lessons. Pekka Pitkäkoski gives instruction in the piano, musical theory and arrangement. Antti Polameri gives instruction in the drums, band playing and the piano in addition.
